Woodland Cabin Reviews

This cabin was a great place for my family and I to stay for an extended weekend. The location is very private and secluded and still only a short drive into Boothbay. The interior is was comfortable for our family. The kitchen had everything that we needed, the living area was appropriately sized, and the bedrooms were comfortable. Plenty of room outside with a nice grill for cooking and screened in porch should you visit in the summer months. Overall we were very impressed with the location, cabin, and host. I would highly recommend to future travelers to this area.

We had an amazing time and would definitely recommend staying here! The cabin is beautiful and exceeded our expectations, you can definitely tell that work has been put in to make it the most cozy and comfortable spot. It has all the modern conveniences, i.e. an updated bathroom, kitchen with current appliances, very comfortable beds, yet it still retains that rustic cabin charm. It is in the perfect location, very quiet and peaceful, and about a 10 minute drive from downtown Boothbay, so you get the best of both worlds. On top of that, Wendy's hospitality was unbeatable, she was friendly and responsive, and recommended local spots to check out. This is truly a special spot and we can't wait to come back and stay again!

We loved this place! So peaceful in a wooded area, great yard for the pups. Secluded but so close to town, restaurants, shopping, etc. can’t wait to stay here again!

Labor Day Vacation
Cottage had nice, homey feel. Very clean and more spacious than it looks online. Great location, close to town. Liked having the fire pit for a relaxing night by the fire. I have only one suggestion and that would be to have a mirror in the bedroom. I’m only 5’2 and I couldn’t see in the bathroom mirror to get ready in the morning. lol. It is high above the sink to accommodate the shelf. Other than that it was an enjoyable stay!

Perfect Cabin in the woods
This was a perfect space for our family of 4 (they were old enough to navigate the ladder to the loft). We loved being surrounded by woods and yet close enough to the water to hear lobster boats and fog horns in the distance. Nice fire pit and yard for outdoor entertainment. And of course the beach is a short (but hilly) walk - the Sprucewold beach is lovely especially in the morning hours (shaded in afternoon/evening). The cabin was very clean. We would stay here again for sure.
