This cute-as-a-button newly renovated waterfront cottage is located on Southport Island across the swing bridge from Boothbay Harbor. "Periwinkle" sparkles with fresh coastal decor and hardwood floors throughout. The first of two bedrooms offers the option of a king size bed or two extra long twins. The second bedroom has one twin bed. The living room has a full size sleeper sofa.
The covered porch and boathouse with deck provide perfect places to relax while watching the bridge open for passing boats and listening to live music from Robinson's Wharf across the cove. Walk there to dine in, or take out lobsters, other Down East offerings, and landlubbers' fare. Little Nick Cottage is located next door to Periwinkle. Perfect for couples traveling together but want their own place.

This was a great little place to stay. We had a really nice time. Enjoyed the cottage and surrounding area. The boat house and dock were a nice addition. And topping it all off was the property managers being attentive and responsive to one small issue we had. Thanks for a great stay! We'll be back for sure.
Lovely spot to escape the city for a few nights! Would happily return! Boothbay Harbor is a couple minutes away, so everything you need is right there, and you can quickly return to your quiet island cottage. Wendy was great and responded to all texts immediately!

The property was so beautiful, clean and comfy. It was so peaceful having lunch on the dock and watching the boats pass by. The host were wonderful, we found their suggestions of things to experience locally and loved everything we tried. We loved our stay and would stay again!

Wendy and Kim were Pros, and made the logistics and check-in process quite easy. The cottage is updated nicely, and has so many thoughtful touches to make it feel like home. Thank you Wendy and Kim! Scott and Donna

Very pleasant place on the waterfront. Simple but with all the amenities. Comfortable and short drive to lots of Things to do.
