The property was gorgeous: rustic, set in a beautiful community by the water and with quaint amenities: a historic post office, a well maintained tennis court. It was fully stocked (dishware, pots, pans, tennis racquets, gas grill, even wood for a fire) and the decor was comfortable and cozy. A stellar place! Boothbay Harbor was wonderful and Wendy and Kim were both highly engaged, always available to answer our questions. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Cozy and spotless home that brings you back, happily, to the early days of summer tourism on the Maine coast. Bayville is a small, 100+ year old summer community where there are many families who have been coming for generations and who clearly welcome new visitors. It has a lovely park area above the dock, with safe and delightful boating at the head of Linekin Bay. Easy walk, as the property description says, to East Boothbay with its noted general store. The house has a large deck, four rooms for living and dining on the first floor, and a large master bedroom and two small twin-bed bedrooms on the second floor. With four adults and two children,we were quite comfortable. The property managers were excellent to work with, very personable and helpful. We'd definitely come back.

Enjoyed a truely restful week here. Did a harbor tour and saw the botanical gardens. Played lots of tennis too. This is a lovely place!
