At the end of a quiet lane, High Cove Cottage is nestled on a hillside overlooking lovely Mill Cove.  One of just six cottages built as an artist’s enclave in the 1930s, High Cove has evolved over the years from its historic past into an expanded modern home.  Sunlight streams through large windows facing the Cove and floor to ceiling sliding doors lead to an inviting wrap-around deck. You enter into a living/dining area with a high cathedral ceiling which joins the recently renovated kitchen with views of the harbor. There is a second, smaller bay window sitting/TV room with sofa and chairs. The Master Bedroom with king-size bed has sliding pocket doors, a closet  and a separate entrance to the deck.  Bedroom #2 has a full and a twin bed with a large closet, and bedroom #3 has a twin bed and closet. There are two full bathrooms, one with a shower/tub and the other with a shower. It is an easy 10 minute walk to the center of town.

Adjoining the cottage is an open plan, knotty pine Bunk House with full bed, full bath, and small kitchenette. This quiet space has been frequently used as a secluded office with WiFi and streaming. The BH is surrounded by flowering hydrangeas and a newly planted garden carved out of the ledge.  On one side of the bunk house are the granite steps leading down to the cottage, and on the other is the 1930’s “Billy Goat Trail” which children love to clamber. Views from the deck, house and BH reveal a working waterfront where luxury yachts, cruise ships and lobster boats dock.
