Hawk's Nest Reviews
Jessica, October 2020
The Hawk's Nest was a delightful place to stay for a week in coastal Maine. Geographically, it is a perfect jumping-off point to visit both Portland and Acadia, and all the cute little towns and state parks in between. It was also incredibly well-appointed: the kitchen was great for making some of our own meals, the sofa bed was really comfortable, and with heated floors and towel racks in the bathroom and a view over the harbor, it really had great touches.

What an awesome little place to stay! So clean! We felt cozy and comfy. A great place to call “home” for a few days ~ To come back to at the end of a fun day of fishing, whale watching or simply eating some delicious lobster in the cute harbor town of Boothbay. We loved our stay. And our hosts made it all the more enjoyable. They had fantastic suggestions and tips on the town. Where go, what to eat, what to avoid and so on. We took as many of the suggestions as we could to heart and made sure to do them, and we were never disappointed. And what a lovely view of the water I must say. a divine little place for your next trip to Maine. We will definitely be back.

This was the best AirBnB experience we have ever had! The apartment was attached to the home of the hosts, Brian and Abby, and we had so much fun chatting with the them, getting advice from them about the local attractions and partaking in their addition for a week. The apartment is BEAUTIFULLY made and decorated! The owner, Brian, built it himself and the craftsmanship shows. Abby, the other owner, has an incredibly beautiful garden surrounding the property. It was so peaceful to sip coffee in the garden, with the ocean in view. Also, the property is just a 5 minute walk from the restaurants and shops in Boothbay. We brought our bikes and biked around as well. When a couple of issues arose with the temperature in the apartment, Brian was very quick to fix them for us! There is a view of the ocean from the windows as well! A+++!
