At the head of Linekin Bay, in a small community called Bayville, sits this storybook Maine Cottage. It is a step back in time and a perfect backdrop for treasured memories to be made. Built in the 1800s, this cottage is updated and offers a quintessential Maine vacation spot. Enjoy a spacious kitchen, dining room, and living room with big, bright windows and exposed beams. There is a first floor bathroom with shower and a new half bath off the kitchen. Upstairs find 4 newly renovated bedrooms that are in keeping with Maine cottage style and charm. Another full bath with an old fashioned tub is located upstairs. Complete with air conditioning and heat, this cottage is comfortable in any weather. It's a short walk to the all the community amenities including the community dock, tennis courts, tidal beach, and even Bayville's own little post office. The community dock is a great place to swim, launch a kayak or enjoy a picnic. This cottage is truly a gem and the views are spectacular.

You can even access the Indian Trail right from the property for a lovely walk to the East Boothbay General Store or go the other direction and it will take you the two mile walk all the way into town.
A perfect location and only a 7 minute drive to the center of Boothbay Harbor where you can enjoy little shops, art galleries, boat excursions, and restaurants.

We had a wonderful week here! The house was incredibly clean, but very homey and comfortable. Having a grill and laundry was a huge bonus for us, and all of the appliances and amenities were excellent. We will happily rent again!

What a gorgeous spot. The house was lovely and the view was amazing! It was so cozy and charming. Beyond our expectations. Great hiking trails to both East Boothbay and downtown Boothbay Harbor.

This home has everything you need for a great time. We enjoyed the view from the deck, the outdoor grill, and had plenty of room with a party of 6 adults. Close to town and the grocery store made for quick and easy trips. Very, very nice, and Wendy was very accessible and accommodating. Would absolutely stay here again!
